Let’s begin our series by way of some background. We feature fabrics from M&S Textiles Australia, the largest manufacturer of Australian Aboriginal designs printed on good quality 100% cotton fabric.
Aboriginal artworks are popular throughout the world and the only living ancient artworks apotheke-zag.de. Its tradition goes back 50,000 years as revealed by carbon dating of rock paintings, cave paintings and so forth. What’s amazing is that many of their artists have no formal art education or training. Their skills and artistry are handed down generation to generation.
Aboriginal artist Nambooka is very skilled and well known, becoming almost a household name for her bold and colorful designs. We’ll touch on just two of her designs today.
